Istituto di Moda Burgo was founded in Milan in 1961 by the current editor and publisher Fernando Burgo. Every year the Institute offers vocational and unique courses to anyone who wants to pursue a career in the fashion world.
In July, Istituto di Moda Burgo offers the Summer Course, which now has its seventeenth edition!

Available Dates:
• From 6 to 30 July (100 o 50 hours)
• From 6 to 17 July (50 hours)
• From 13 to 24 July (50 hours)
• From 20 to 30 July (50 hours)
The summer courses are open to all students who plan to spend an “Holiday-Studio” in Milan, with the advantage of being able to choose from a wide range of courses:
• Fashion Design – drawing techniques and collection
• Pattern Making – pattern making and tailoring techniques
• Fashion Stylist (Fashion Design + Pattern Making) is the most popular! It offers a complete view of both subjects in a short period.
The student will choose a further specialization too:
Fashion Design:
Women, Men, Children, Jewelry, Shoes, Underwear, Accessories, Beachwear, Theatre Costume, Wedding.
Pattern Making:
Women, Men, Children, Underwear, Beachwear, Theatre Costume, Wedding.
The individual lessons allow each student to choose the topics that are more interesting for deepen them.
At the beginning of the course the teacher will help students to choose the right starting level.
Three levels available:
• BASIC: suitable to people who are starting from zero.
• ADVANCE: suitable to people who have already studied fashion.
• PROFESSIONAL: suitable to people who have already studied fashion or worked in the fashion field.
At the end of the course each student get a certificate of attendance.
