The Course
Istituto di Moda Burgo was created with the intention of transforming its students into real fashion artists. Thus, each student is shown how to reconcile his individual imagination with professional workplace requirement. To become a fashion stylist means to be able to express a concept and implement it in terms of fashion. As a part of this process, it is necessary to know something about clothes, colouring techniques, manufacturing and most importantly how to give form (style) to an idea knowing that it can be realized. For this reason, stylism has put together most of Fashion Design, Pattern Making and Dressmaking subjects. A real stylist will have to acquire skills related to the entire production cycle: from the creative process to the finished product. Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign are also included, fundamental for the creation of technical drawings and portfolios; artistic embroidery and draping, with the designers who worked for Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana, complete the program.
At the end of the course the stylist will have acquired the skills related to the entire production cycle: from the creative process to the finished product.
