Milano Unica was founded in 2005 and it is a new exhibition hub for textiles and accessories. The event has introduced a new system of relations between raw material producers and customers, involving the whole fashion system, thanks to the serious and overall study of the Area Trend.
This year it has been attended by the greatest and most significant brands and Italian and European fashion institutions, along with Japanese and Koreans manufacturers of Observers.
Milano Unica also proposed events dedicated to young people as the original “Back to School” whose main character was Sir Paul Smith with the seminar “You can find inspiration in everything”.
“Magazzini Aperti”, an exhibition space at Hall 12, was the setting for an installation of 3 beautiful creations made by Angel Deu Lana, student of at the last year of Professional Dressmaking course at Istituto di Moda Burgo, along with 8 schools Italian fashion including Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, AdM,  Accademia Galli, AFOL Moda, IED Moda, Istituto Modartech, NABA Nuova Accademia Belle Arti e Accademia Harim.
The success of Istituto di Moda Burgo young students is due to the effective teaching method, which offers individual classes consist of 80% of practical classes and workshops. The limited number of students per teacher is the guarantee of an optimal learning. The Institute receives hundreds of jobs, internships and collaborations offers from all over the world.
